Platinum Pleasures

Be sure to drop by our sales table (probably in the competition room), we’ll have a few fashions to sell, including our latest Platinum Pleasures. This fashion will be an exclusive to dressmakerdetails.com and before it goes on sale we’ll have about 50 or so pieces at a special convention price. This fashion is gorgeous; inspired by a vintage Chanel, the dress is 100% silk with a bodice entirely beaded by hand with micro sequins and Japanese beads. The skirt features side pockets and a metallic lace detail. The coat (not shown here) is made of a beautiful dupione silk and features an oversized rhinestone buckle and classic detailing. Click on the photo for a closer look.
Another reason to drop by our table (ok three), we’ll also be offering a LE little satin sheath in convention colours, a LE male doll sized Hawaiian shirt (perfect for the Tiki party) and a mini-contest; we’ve done up for sale bags of shoes(I call them ‘Bag-O-Shoes’) in each one is a piece of paper, one in 10 will win a free fashion.
It’s going to be lots of fun, I’m looking forward to seeing everyone again and some new faces too!

Fashion Royalty Convention 2006

Fashion Royalty Convention 2006
It’s that time of year again, I’ll be heading to Baltimore next week and I thought I’d give a sneek peak of a few things before I go.
First we have Dressmaker Details’ raffle donation for the convention this year, it’s Natalia’s worst nightmare….too many clothes. The winner of this raffle can have tons of re-dressing fun, with oodles of outfits, she could even share with some other dolls (but we know she won’t)
The other shot is my creation for the live auction which will be held in support of DIFFA (The Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS). For the cause I decided to part with my OOAK pink counter sample of Evening in Paradise. Now known as Love in Bloom, a pretty Veronique, is found walking on a cobblestone terrace collecting fallen blossoms as she waits for her ‘true love’. She’s very hard to part with, but I’m sure someone will give her a good home. Pls. note the shoes painted to match the dress…It’s all in the details, yah know.
Enjoy!
Steven
