Flowers can be on of the most expensive items at a wedding. If you want to preserve your bouquet during the traditional bouquet toss, you can create a special bouquet of ribbon just for that purpose. A ribbon bouquet will also stand up to several re-tries if nobody catches it on the first throw.
Materials:

Ribbon for roses 1 ½” to 2” wide Single faced satin works best.
Floral wire and tape
Wider ribbon for the bow

Technique:
a) Following our “rolled ribbon roses 101” technique create the roses for the bouquet. Depending on the size desired anywhere from 12 to 36 roses.
b) Affix each rose to a piece of floral wire by simply twisting it to the rose like a twist tie. Cover all of the stems with floral tape.
c) Build the bouquet working from the center out doming the roses as you go. Bind the stems together with more floral tape and finish the stem with a beautiful ribbon and a bow.
