December 2005	It’s the most wonderful time of the year, when a child’s excitement and wonder can warm you in the coldest of winter nights. For this holiday season, we’ve added many unique ribbons for gift wrapping and gift giving as well as unique labels and gift tags for that perfect finishing touch. Our perennial Favourites are still here including our ribbon candy ornament kit and our luxurious wide satin ribbons. We are once again very proud to be a part of the Lucky Magazine Wrap Kit and have posted the four ribbons offered in this year’s kit in our shop so if you run out you can always order more. May 2005	A beautiful and easy way to adorn a package this spring: wired edge ribbons. Choose from summery shades of lime, blue and lavender. We’ve also added supple satin stripes, a romantic printed satin featuring French text about a visit to Venice, and reversible elastic satins, great for projects around the house and gift wrapping. The Stitch-It Kit is the perfect way to learn to embroider and it makes a great gift for a friend to inspire interest in this creative pastime.

February 2005	For your sweetheart on St. Valentine's Day, trim that special package with beautiful ribbons. Our brown taffeta with pink dots evokes a French patisserie, while the boldness of our red and white striped satin adds a traditional look. Make a homemade card with our cardmaking kit and our vintage style Valentine labels or fill a glass topped container with simple hard candies to show a small token of affection or use them as party favors. December 2004	Just added to our shop: more fabulous ribbons for the holidays and beyond. With the launch of our Dressmaker Details website, we have added some new items to the category in our shop. The highly anticipated jewelry paks and shoe paks are here and have become our most popular item to date please check them out in the shop . We should be receiving some of the fashions in our shop by early next year, in the meantime, please feel free to let us know what you think of the new site. November 2004	We have added some great new products to make your holiday preparations easier. July 12 2004	Due to popular demand, we’ve had our beautiful French measuring tape ribbon brought back into production. Available in eight fashion colours, this ribbon adds unique whimsy to any gift. See the Novelty section.
May 28 2004	More ribbons have just been added, including beautiful citrus colours just in time for summer. See the New Products section. We have had a great response to our dressmaker details, be sure to watch for new details in the coming months. Japanese jingle bells are now available. These perfectly round bells are great for adorning small gifts, clothing or making a festive wreath. Check them out in the Supplies - Miscellaneous section.
April 12 2004	New site look. We have redesigned the look and feel of our website without changing either the content or the functionality. We hope you enjoy the new look. Thanks to our webmaster Robert Labossiere at Klooj.net. We have added a new products section to the store for your convenience. Please also note that the store is also searchable in case you are looking for something specific. The store was down termporarily at the beginning of April due to an overloaded server. Our apologies to anyone who was inconvenienced.
January 8 2004	More ribbons and labels added just in time for Valentine's day. More novelties from France as well as some beautiful rolls of ribbon. You can never have enough on hand. The new luminescent organdy ribbon is stunning. In the Organdy section of our online store.The chocolate brown and pink co-ordinates beautifully with our dotted taffeta ribbon, which seems to sell out before we finish opening the shipping box. December 10 2003	New craft products have just been added. Try our tins of vintage styled labels. Each tin contains over 100 acid-free labels in varied styles and colours. They are great for special gifts and crafts. In the Stickers and Labels section of our online store. Order special miniture clothes pins or Italian circular paper clips for the Master Stroke to your gift wrapping. In the Supplies section of our online store. We have lots of shades of gros grain on our site for making ribbon candy, even the silk knitting tape to string them with. For anyone who is doing ric-rac crafts we have many ric-rac trims available other than what is on our site, please call for further information. Congratulations to Diane Blovin of Laval Quebec, the winner of our holly ribbon wreath that we had on display at the Creative Sewing and Needlework Festival this past October. We had a great turn out and very positive feedback about our products, so much so that we will be there next fall and this spring at the spring show. September 14 2003	More gros grain ribbons have just been added. Many people have been requesting different gros grain colours to make ribbon candy ornaments for the fast approaching holiday season. Along with the new colours, we’ve also added two ‘economy’ versions of two of our most popular colours; peppermint (red and green) and cherry (red and pink). These ribbons were made exclusively for us in France and are available in a limited quantity, so stock up while you can, at less than half the price of the regular version you can make lots of gifts and decorations that will last for years to come. Also added is the new Martha Stewart Wedding Planner/Binder, a great tool that lets you customize the binder to suit the scale of your Wedding. It makes a great engagement gift too! Masterstroke Canada will be exhibiting at the Creative Sewing and Neddlework Festival this October from the 17th till the 20th at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre South Building, booth number 635. June 26 2003	The Masterstroke Canada online shop is now back in business.
June 13 2003	Due to problems with our internet service provider, the Masterstroke Canada online shop is temporarily out of service. May 30 2003	Handmade quality ribbon roses just added to the applique department, sold by the dozen per colour, the uses are unlimited. We also have a beautiful selection of ribbons for summer entertaining including flag ribbons.
April 16 2003	Over 30 new items have been added to our shop just in time for Easter. Beautiful floral trims and our newest design; 100m wide satin edged gingham taffeta in a celadon/chartreuse shade of green, it has a vintage look at a great price, onnly $8.00 per metre, about $5.00 US. Please let us know what you think. Our latest book addition “The Language of Gifts” is a great book to have when you just don’t know what to give someone as a gift. It is filled with lots of useful information on the meaning behind the gifts you give.
March 10 2003	Just in time for spring, our 10 metre rolls of French Miniature Gingham Ribbon are now on sale for only $11.00/roll Canadian funds. Choose from six fashion colours (chocolate brown, burgundy, Christmas red, taupe, dove gray and chartreuse) These ribbons are great for finishing off a special gift any time of year.
January 20 2003	Valentine's Day is soon approaching and another 27 items have been added to our shop. Delicious chocolate brown velvet and candy coloured linen stitch tapes make the perfect addition to any box of chocolates. Be sure to check out our beautiful selection of rare vintage items. The most notable of our vintage selection is the hand-finished “Feather edged Striped Gros grain Velvet Ribbon”. This type of ribbon would be impossible to recreate today.
January 20 2003	Over 30 new ribbons have been added to our shop. Including Satins, gros grains, novelties, trims, jacquards and taffetas. We hope you enjoy them. The ‘car’ jacquard is perfect for trimming a lampshade in a child’s room and the stretch satins are great ribbons for many different craft projects.
December 5 2002	We are pleased to announce the launch of the Masterstroke Canada online store. The store can be accessed through the Buy Ribbons section.
November 23 2002	I’ll be at Pantry Press in Toronto on Saturday November 30th 2002 between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to demonstrate ribbon techniques and share some of my ribbon ideas. Please join us, there will be beautiful unique letterpress wrapping papers for sale as well as greeting cards, stationary and of course a selection of our finest ribbons. November 22 2002	New magazine credits have been added to our Media section, including the latest issues of December issue of Martha Stewart Living and the December issue of “O” The Oprah Magazine.
October 20 2002	New magazine credits have been added to our Media section, including the latest issues of Martha Stewart Weddings, Style at Home and the Holiday issue of Canadian House and Home featuring our Box of Labels, great for holiday gift wrapping. Each box includes over 100 vintage style labels. They will be available in our on-line shop at the end of November, but you can order now by calling our toll-free number or sending us an email through our contact page.
