Match them up with many of our ribbons and wrapping papers for a complete look. The runner shown in the photo above is perfect for tucking in the boughs of a Christmas tree to add another dimension with minimal cost. It is also striking as a wrapping paper over a box wrapped in a solid colour, finished with a satin bow it is easy elegance.

Printed Ribbons as seen in MS Weddings

In the latest issue of Martha Stewart Weddings (on newsstands this week) you'll see a sample of printed ribbon done for the magazine by Masterstroke Canada. You won't find the ribbons on our site as it is a custom order. I've listed some information about the printed ribbons below:

The font used in the photo was a custom one and is not available. If you have a specific image or font to use, it can be emailed in a jpeg format and we can work with that, otherwise we can offer basic fonts found on most computers.
We offer printing our our Double-Faced Satin ribbon, it is the best weight and quality and gives the best results. We can print on satin from 3/8" wide up to 4" wide.
Pricing is as mentioned in the magazine - $45 set-up/layout charge for your text, then 80 cents per metre for the printing + the cost of the ribbon per metre. For example, our 4" wide satin cost $5 per metre so printed with your text, it would be $5.80 per metre plus the set-up fee, so 10 metres would cost $103.00 CDN before shipping and applicable taxes.
We have approximately 100 colours of satin to choose from. Cuttings of specific colours are available upon request. As far as inks go, we have white, black, matte silver/matte gold and a couple other colours but these are the most popular ones.
We need approximately 3-4 weeks to complete your order, so please order early.

Ribbons for every occasion!

It's been a long time since my last update, we have been busy working on a new site (coming later this year) and sourcing out the most beautiful ribbons the world has to offer.

In addition to the wide taffeta stripes we had last Christmas we'll have a spring version next week of a lime green and fuchsia combo (sorry no picture yet). The 3" wide fuchsia and orange plaid (shown above) is perfect for birthdays, showers and other fun spring / summer events.

Spring Colours

Pretty colours for Easter, Birthdays and Weddings abound at Masterstroke Canada. Although our full selection is not on-line, please feel free to give us a call, we'd be happy to send cuttings and do our best to help with your special events and that unique ribbon you may be looking for.

We've re-stocked our very popular French linen stitch tape and measuring tape ribbons (both of which are available on-line). These beautiful trims are made on century old mills with the same attention to detail and craftsmanship that flourished in the height of French ribbon production over 100 years ago.

Our 6" wide double faced 'Pride' satin is available in almost 50 colours, not all of which are on-line, please call us toll-free for a specific colour.

New ribbons rolling in soon!

New ribbons will be rolling into our on-line shop in the next couple of weeks just in time for early Christmas preparations. Beautiful wired ribbons from France and some great jacquards to be-ribbon anything from ornaments to an exquisite package, you'll find lots of ideas here.
