Serenade in Brocade

Serenade in Brocade is one of those fashions that has a lot of vintage Barbie inspiration in it. Three most notable vintage details are the fur cuffs and collar, the use of brocade and the chiffon. I was definitely inspired by the vintage fashion Golden Glory, though our coat is a short boxy jacket and our chiffon ties cover the bust line with delicate pleating before tying in the back. It is the pleating and the intricate chandelier earrings that add the modern flair, though the overall the 60’s influence is obvious.

Just a note on this counter samples shown, the purse (though hard to tell) will actually be the same colour as the chiffon when produced.

This fashion should be available around the end on May at authorized dealers.
